Starting off the revamp of the blog, been away for a bit due to lack of internet access at home. I as well as many other fans, have been outraged over the ludicrous decision to cancel this show, and renew the pile of crap known as Dollhouse. It's IMHO that the show was kept simply because it's a creation of Joss Whedon. Well, guess what Fox.. Buffy and Angel are GONE!! Living it up in comic book form. They say that (insert word) is the sincerest form of flattery, well the success of those shows can't be copied. He had a good thing going, and this one is unfortunately a bomb.. Below is an excerpt of the email I sent out to Kevin Reilly, president of Fox Broadcasting..

Good afternoon.

I am writing as a longtime viewer of Fox programming, and it is
with sadness that I feel I can no longer enjoy quality programming
because of a lack of just that coming from your company. There is a
lot of outrage and feelings of frustration from many fans in my area,
including myself, and I represent myself and several friends who are
here with me at this time. I do not think it was a smart choice to
renew the dollhouse series, despite the claims being made and/or
reported on several websites. Because the real truth here, is that it
was renewed because it's a "Joss Whedon" production, and not because
it has a loyal fanbase, or is even a reasonably decent show. I tried
several attempts to watch this show without prejudice, and the four
times I tried, I was barely able to stomach even 10 minutes of this
show. I understand that in this day and age, times are tough and
money is tight, but should not a company take pride in the products
they produce? I feel you have lost your pride in this fine show, and
along with many other fans, I feel ripped off with the season 2 ending
as it did. I also disagree with your statements that the show had
"ended it's run". How do you end the run of a show when there is so
much potential still there? The least consideration that your company
should have done is sold the rights of the show to another company or
channel, so that way it could continue and perhaps find even more
success, since it seems there is a lack of vision towards it within
your company. I do hope you will take into consideration, sales of
dvds and blu-ray discs, and perhaps a revival of the show could be
possible, as that is a hope held by many fans of the series. I know
that I am only one fan, but I feel I speak for many, not only here in
Canada, but all over the world. Please take these things into
consideration, It's a risk that would be worthwhile and very
profitable, if handled correctly. Thank you for your time, and I hope
you and the other executives and anyone else involved in programming
or show management will take the voices of the fans into
consideration.

So.. It seems the fans are speaking up all over the internet. With Season 2 of TSCC being released on dvd and blu-ray in a month, it's a wonder if high volumes being purchased will perhaps spur a revival of the show? Only time and sales will tell..

Breasts and women's rights and other tirades

I know there has been a serious gap since my last posting, where I believe I said that I would be posting more frequently, but it seems just as I get so far ahead, something blows up or shit falls on my head and knocks me off my feet.. So there have been a few physical and mental setbacks.. However the show must go on.. The rantings must continue. Yes. Yes, indeed.. So you see, this all began not too long ago over on a social site by the name of MyYearbook. Nifty site, similar to Facebook, though not as buggy and overloaded with apps.. So, I'm going through two-hundred and something secret admirers I apparently have, it's a little game they have built into their site, they give you 9 pictures, and you have to try and match the pic of the person who clicked on you, but you become a secret admirer of whoever you click.. So, fine and great.. Going through a load of these, and I realize that every so often, there appears a name without a face, it's nothing more than a pair of breasts. And this irks the hell out of me!! Because online sites are notoriously overpopulated with men who feel the necessity to hunt down naked pictures of women, or are just looking for a cyber-fling.. It's a sad but true statement.. So, I would guess my question here would be WHY?? Is there some necessity to flaunt them on the internet? Is there any occurence that this type of behaviour is what invokes most of these losers to be the pigs that they are?? It blows my mind, but then again there are a lot of things in society that do that, will do that, and will continue to do that LOL. What else is new? The greatest movie of the summer is released in two days, and I plan on going out to get my advance ticket later today. Figuring I will go to the second showing, which is 3pm cuz 11:30 is a bit too early for me to be fully awake and adjusted to reality enough to totally enjoy a nearly 3hr movie, and I'll miss lunch at the gathering.. So better to have lunch then go to the theatre, cuz then all I will need is some drinks, and I will be good to go for my movie. I don't really bother with popcorn or other munchies, too much cash at the theatre, and just not much of a movie muncher anymore I guess. In case, you might have no idea what I am talking about.. The sequel to the 2007 smash hit Transformers is being released on June 24th. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This movie is going to be pretty sick, the game tie-in looks phenomenal, and the comic adaptions were pretty good as well. I'll be sure to post back a bit of a review of the movie after the 24th.

New Blog, Old Fuzz..

I don't think I can remember the last time that I wrote a blog, but believe me.. It has been too long. Yes, secure your ass to the chair and your eyes to the screen. Rejoice my Fuzzles, for yes the time has come.. And I have returned to rant and rave :D Where to begin, oh where to begin, where there is soo much tyranny (is it tie-ranny or tier-anny?)Hmmm.. There's one thing to add to my list of things to debate later lol.. Umm neways, yeah.. Well, what a month it has been. Dammit, it just occured to me that although I just signed up for this blog, I also have a blog available to me on my social networking site http://www.whaaatt.com :D I haven't had much time to work on it very much, but stay tuned and there will be many updates on many projects on these pages. Been doing a lot of design work lately, some site design stuff, some book stuff, finishing up work on the final covers for the worldwide publication of my book, Whispered Dreams; Poetry from the edge. (Lulu link to be added). As well, once I upload and approve this final copy, the book will be available through any book retailer, both online and offline. Wow, it must be sunday.. When I first started writing, I had a flurry of ideas, and all of a sudden now... BLAAAHHH... Ahh well, I guess I won't go on a furious tirade for my reunion appearance into the blogging world.
